  1. In consultation with the Dean: 
    1. prepares a Medium Term Development Plan in the light of the institutional and departmental goals and objectives;
    2. organizes and reviews all curricular and co-curricular programs of the College;
  2. Recommends to the Dean the acquisition of professional references and other instructional materials in coordination with the faculty of the assigned professional school;
  3. Conducts faculty meetings, faculty and student dialogues on prevailing academi concerns;
  4. Perform high level of efficiency in the teaching assignments;
  5. Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established University procedures;
  6. Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction;
  7. Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures;
  8. Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University;
  9. Provide consultation with students as maybe needed;
  10. Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies;
  11. Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development;
  12. Participate as needed in department and University activities;
  13. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities;
  14. Observe and evaluate students' performance and development; and
  15. Performs other professional school related tasks that may be assigned by the Dean from time to time.

1.       Strong vision for shaping current and future trends in music, theater and dance education with an eye on the professional landscape.

2.       Highly knowledgeable in performing arts.

3.       Strong organizational skills including strong analytical skills/judgment.

4.       Excellent communication skills (written and oral); ability to work effectively with a diverse client base; strong interpersonal skills.

5.       Knowledge of other languages preferred

6.       A high degree of professional maturity, creativity and energy required.

7.        Commitment to the mission, vision and values of the University.
